"For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophecy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation; he who gives, with liberality; he who leads, with diligence; he who shows mercy, with cheerfulness." -Romans 12:4-8 (NKJV)
Family Moment
The body of Christ is an amazing part of God's plan to bless the world. What gift has God given you that you might use to bring unity to your community? Write down one or two things each family member can do this week, and make a plan to bless others. End the time by speaking a blessing over everyone in you family: "Now we are the body of Christ, and each of us is a part of it! Holy Spirit, please give us power to serve others with the gifts we've been given."

- We are all given special gifts from God, and we can use those gifts to bless others.
- Think about what gifts God has given you. Ask Him to help you use these gifts to serve Him.
- Pray: "God, thank You for giving me special gifts and talents. Please give me opportunities to use my gifts to serve and bless others. In Jesus' name, Amen."
